Trombone Trio
This trio is a good example of early French instrumental music by Brumel and two movements based on German secular songs by Isaac. Brumel and Isaac were important composers of the late 15th and early 16th century. In the first example by Brumel called Esnu sy que Pus ne Porroit, the trombonists have some rich florid lines. The two German songs are much simpler rhythmically, but require a full sound to bring out the canonic parts.
