John Mack of the Cleveland Orchestra played one of them for the Cleveland, Ohio bicentennial celebration in 1996. They are melodious, late romantic style pieces with conventional form and idiomatic writing for both oboe and piano.The movements are: Berceuse, Siciliano, Intermezzo, and Caprice. These pieces could also be played on the violin or flute substituting for the oboe.
