Featuring the well known theme, four contrasting variations, a brilliant fugue and a finale with fanfares, this terrific new piece provides many solo opportunities for the brass quintet. Trumpet I part in Eb, however substitute Bb part is provided.Dudley Buck was a highly acclaimed organ virtuoso. He served at churches in Hartford, Ct. and Chicago. This piece, in its organ format, was a favorite with Buck’s audiences.
