Over 125 of these trios were written for Prince Esterhazy’s own use. This trio was originally written for the baryton, viola and cello and was in the key of D Major. Greenstone has transcribed it in the key of Eb major to make it more accessible to brass playing fingerings. There are three movements: Allegro, Menuet, and Finale.
